Terms and Policies

By downloading or using FoodJate, you agree to use the app in accordance with these terms and our Community Guidelines.

You may not use FoodJate for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm other users, third parties, or the integrity of the platform.

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your profile information, the security of your account credentials, and all activity that occurs under your account.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at foodjate26@gmail.com.

By uploading photos or other media to FoodJate, you grant FoodJate a limited license to display your content within the app for the purpose of enabling matches and meetups.

You must only upload content you own or have the right to share. Uploading explicit, illegal, or third-party content without permission is prohibited.

You are solely responsible for the content of your messages, Jate requests, and group chat interactions. FoodJate does not pre-screen messages, but reserves the right to review and remove content that violates our guidelines.

FoodJate helps connect people and discover restaurants, but is not responsible for the outcome of in-person meetups. Users participate in meetups at their own discretion and are encouraged to follow our Safety Tips.

FoodJate reserves the right to remove content or suspend and permanently remove accounts that violate these terms or our Community Guidelines, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

Appeals for account actions can be submitted to foodjate26@gmail.com.

FoodJate is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, a particular match or meetup outcome, or the accuracy of information supplied by members or restaurants.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FoodJate is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the service or interactions between members. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact foodjate26@gmail.com and make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue directly.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally must be brought in a court with jurisdiction in California, unless applicable consumer law requires another forum.
