Community Guidelines
FoodJate is a place to meet people, explore restaurants, and enjoy great experiences together. To keep our community safe and welcoming, all users must follow these guidelines.
Be Respectful
Treat every member of the FoodJate community with kindness and respect. This includes your Jate matches, squad members, and anyone you interact with in chats or restaurants.
Disagreements happen, but personal attacks, insults, or demeaning language are never acceptable.
Zero Tolerance Behavior
The following behaviors will result in immediate account suspension or removal:
- –Harassment, bullying, or targeted attacks on any user
- –Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or nationality
- –Threats of violence or self-harm
- –Scamming, phishing, or financial exploitation
- –Impersonating another person or creating a fake profile
- –Sending unsolicited sexual content or applying sexual pressure
- –Sharing another user's personal information without consent
- –Underage users or misrepresenting your age to bypass the 18+ requirement
Use Real Profile Information
Your profile must accurately represent who you are. Use your real name (or a reasonable variation), genuine photos of yourself, and honest information about your interests.
Creating fake accounts, using someone else's photos, or misrepresenting your identity is a violation of these guidelines and may result in removal.
Keep Squad Chats Relevant & Safe
Squad group chats should be used to plan restaurant meetups, coordinate group activities, and connect with people who share your interests.
Spamming, sharing explicit content, promoting external services, or using group chats to target or harass members is not allowed.
Report Harmful Behavior
If you see something that violates these guidelines, please report it. Do not engage with harmful users — block and report them using the in-app tools or our Report a Problem page.
By reporting issues, you help keep FoodJate safe for everyone. Reports are reviewed by our team and handled confidentially.
Enforcement
Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary restrictions, or permanent removal from FoodJate, depending on the severity and frequency of the behavior. FoodJate reserves the right to take action at its discretion to protect the community.
